Ashleigh Foster

My name is Ashleigh Foster and I am a BRAND NEW ICU nurse at my local hospital in

South Boston, VA! I graduated nursing school in May 2019 and have been in the RN-BSN
program since 2017-the beginning of my nursing school journey. This is my last academic
semester for my BSN and I am thrilled! I have a much bigger goal of obtaining my masters
degree and becoming a family nurse practitioner. My passion has always been within the world
of medicine so it makes sense that my previous major was Forensic Science (taken at Virginia
Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA).
I am 24 years old and my fiancé works as an IT specialist at Microsoft; we have recently
closed on our first home and are exited to start our new adventure with our dream jobs! We have
one Pitbull puppy by the name of Karleigh Ray and she loves to ride everywhere, especially
throughout the curvy roads of the Blue Ridge parkway during the fall! Beyond my academic
aspirations, I enjoy completing Sudoku puzzles, crafting and cooking. I thoroughly enjoy the
personal and social aspect of food.
